<![CDATA[The research was motivated by the lack of ability of the student in constructing their own knowledge and comprehension of mathematical concept student are still low. Resolve the issue applied a strategy of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The study aims to determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning. This type of research is the design of the random experiment eith the subject. Populasi in this study is the eight grade student of SMPN 1 Gunung Tuleh. Random sampling is done perpetually, as the experiment class is VIII5 class and control class is the class VIII1. This research instrument is the ultimate test with indicator student comprehension of mathematical concepts. Form of test used is a form of essay that valid and reliabel. Based on the test result obtained by the hypothesis P-value = 0,001 at significance level  = 0,05, since P-value  , reject H0 and accept H1. Thus, it can be concluded that student comprehension of mathematical consep using strategies of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is better than the student comprehension of mathematical concepst with convensional learning on eight grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Tuleh]]>

<![CDATA[Background of research by concept comprehension mathematik of student wich still low, the lack of students interest toward mathematik, the sudent is not used to think, the lack of students bravery to ask question to the teacher. The purpose of this research to know how long concept comprehension mathematic of the student which apply Cooperatif Learning Model Think Pair Square (TPSq) Type follow by Cartoon Work sheet as good as comprehension mathematik of the student which learning conventional student class VIII SMPN 34 Padang 2012/2013 academic year. Population is the student grade-VIII of SMPN 34 padang. This research is experimental research, the design of randomized trial on the subject. The instrument used is the final essay test. The technique analysis data that used is the t test one hand. Hypotesis is test result obtained is that tvalue = 2,80 is greather than ttable = 1,645. So hypotesis research resived until we can conclude that concept comprehension mathematic of the student apply cooperatif learning model Think Pair Square (TPSq) type follow by cartoon Work Sheet ask good as consept comprehension mathematic student which apply conventional learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is introduction by the lack of the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and the mathematics learning activities by teacher center. This research is aims to determine  the implementation of active learning strategy type The Learning Cell in improving studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept class VIII SMPN 11 Padang. The type of research is experiment with random of subject. Population in this research is students class VIII SMPN 11 Padang who registered in academic year 2012/2013. The technique of sampling is random and selected class VIIIF as an experimental class and VIIIE as a control class. Instrument used was an essay test with a reliability test is 0,826. Based on the analysis of data obtained that the average student learning outcomes experimental class is greater than the control class. Hypothesis testing using one side of t-test with the MINITABâS program, obtained P-value is less than α. The hypothesis is accepted at the 95% confidence level. Thus it can be concluded that the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept with an active learning strategy type The Learning Cell is better than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept by implementing conventional learning class VIII SMPN 11 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[This research based on the lack of comprehension of the mathematical concepts that students look at learning outcomes math class VII student SMPN5 Padang and less active in group discussions. This study aimed to determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts with the application of cooperative learning type think pair share a better comprehension of the mathematical concepts that students applying conventional teaching class VII SMPN 5 Padang academic year 2012/2013, and to determine whether the application of Cooperative Learning type Think Pair Share cooperative Mathematics Learning effective. This type of research is experimental research on the subject with a random design. The research instrument is shaped final essay test with a reliability test is r11 = 0.84, and a questionnaire study of learning effectiveness. Based on questionnaire data obtained percentage of the overall indicator of the effectiveness of learning by 85,26% including the highly effective criteria. Hypothesis testing using t-test of the parties with the help of MINITAB, obtained p-value = 0.011 is less than α of 0.05, then reject H0. So, it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts with the application of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) is better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning class and implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share  (TPS) is very effective in learning mathematics.     ]]>

<![CDATA[Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) is a learning strategy that enables students to be expected to increase students understanding of the concept of SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang are low. The purpose of this research was to find out whether the students understanding of mathematical concept by applying active learning strategy ETH type it joined handout was better than applying conventional learning. Thish research is experimental research. The research population was X grade students of SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang West Pasaman district and samples were X3 as experimental class, X6 as control class. The instrument which was used in this research was essay test with index of reliability = 0,96. Based on the result of data analysis concerning with studentâs understanding of mathematical concept to both of classes. It was found that the mean score of experimental class = 76,10 and the mean score of control class = 63,53. The hypothesis testing shown that tcalculated =3.84 is low than t(0,95)(75) = 1,67, it could be concluded that the hypothesis was accepted. In other word the studentâs understanding of mathematical concept by applying active learning strategy ETH type it joined handout was better than conventional learning at confidence interval 95%.]]>

<![CDATA[The backgrounds of this research are the studentsâ unwillingness to share the information and the styudentsâ low concept understanding on the mathematical learning of the grade-XI natural-science class of SMAN 1 2x11 Enam Lingkung in the years 2012/2013. The type of research is experimental by using Randomized Control Group Only Design. The data analysis technique used is TTest . Techniques of data analysis were performed using one-way t test. <![CDATA[This research is motivated by lock studentscomprehension of mathematical concepts. The students are less able to define the core of the learning material submitted by teachers and students who are less responsible in doing tast at the eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Basa Ampek Balai. This study aims to determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts class VIII SMPN 3 Basa Ampek Balai used Cooperative Learning tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) used traditional models with media three charts better than conventional learning. The type of research study design randomized experiment with the subject. The instruments that is used in the study is a test of the ability of comprehension mathematical concepts. The final test is essay shaped with a reliability test was 0,76. Hypothesis test results with MINITAB obtained p-value is 0,009, then the hypothesis in this study received. So, it can be concluded that the capabilities students comprehension of mathematical concepts apply cooperative learning models NHT type charts with three media better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in class VIII SMPN 3 Basa Ampek Balai in year 2012-2013Â WITH 95% confidence level.]]>
